SKH Sheet Metals Components Pvt. Ltd (SKH SMC) is a wholly owned entity of SKH. SKH SMC has three manufacturing facilities: SKH SMC Binola (NCR), SKH SMC Ranjangaon (near Pune) and SKH SMC Chennai. SKH SMC has been the growth center for SKH’s exports to global OEM’s as well as its vehicle for expanding in all major automotive hubs of India.

SKH SMC Pune, having a built up area of 200,000 square feet (with an additional 40,000 sqft built up area to be added shortly) was established in FY 2008-09.  Its key products include Seat Structures, Metal Fuel Tanks (PV and Two Wheelers), Bumper Brackets, ISOFIX assemblies and various sheet metal components and assemblies (low and high tensile) for various Indian and Global OEMs.

Its customers include key Indian OEMs like Skoda Auto Volkswagen India, Renault Nissan, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra. SMC Pune’s exports customers are the who’s who of the automotive realm – Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda, Bentley, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Ducati, MAN, SEAT, JCB, John Deere and KOHLER.

The facility boasts of the latest in manufacturing technology such as complete robotic welding for seat structures, riveting, self-piercing and clinching technology (replacing conventional welding technologies). The facility has the distinct honor of being the only Indian sheet metal forming facility delivering successful supplies to Audi worldwide. 

SKH SMC Binola is a 96,000 sqft production facility established in 2010-11  for catering to the group’s captive requirements, other Tier-1 customers as well as a few export customers for Seat Structures, stamped and welded sheet metal components and stack pipes for automotive, off road and power generation sectors.

The facility’s key domestic customers include SKH Metals, Krishna Maruti Ltd, Continental India, Mark Exhaust, Gabriel, Tenneco. It also exports exhaust parts to JCB, Hong Kong and Kohler Group, Italy.

SKH SMC, Chennai was established in 2014 and is spread across 6,900 sqft manufacturing Metal Fuel Tanks for its key customer Renault Nissan. SKH SMC Chennai plant is envisioned as the growth engine for fulfilling SKH’s aspirations to become the supplier of choice for Southern India based OEMs for their metal forming requirements. 

SKH SMC has also established its global presence by commencing an office in Germany to serve its valuable export customers. This office ensures that we are closer to the customer and understand the 'Voice of Customer' effectively. Adhering to the Group values of being customer centric, this nodal office keeps a check on the customer issues if any and provides timely resolution to the same.
